I have a attic light and outside porch light on the same light switch. There are connections in the attic where there appear to be several junctin boxes that I can see wires connected with nuts. I notice on very hot days the outside porch light does not work but the attic light does. Now , when it gets cool outside, the outside light works. I dont understand what the problem could be. Without physically checking it out I am unable to adequately help. I don't know of any problems of this sort that would be a quick fix for you.
Sorry
