| Hello, newbie here.I want to take a spare 220 buss fuse block and turn it in to a pair of 110 lines and run them out to my garage.Best Way? Sub panel or right out of the existing service and how would I go about doing either? I'm not a novice when it comes to working with electricity but have never done this type of job before. Some Help? |

Not real sure what you currently have or what you are looking to do... will do my best to try to help you. I would suggest that you somehow overcurrent protect your line running to the garage be it through a breaker in your panel or fused block or disconnect. Then I would suggest that you install a subpanel in the garage. That way you can run whatever you want out of the new panel. Make sure to size your wire accordingly. If you are unsure call a professional... best to be safe.
