Name your price, could be anything between 500 and 5000 quid.
Consideration has to be given to the existing surface and if you need scalpings to form a hard base, will you require a matting first to stop the weeds growing through, will it have a top coat, or will they just chuck a load of tarmac down and kick it about.
You have a couple of prices, what have they quoted to do and how thick is the base coat.
Ask for a couple of references that you can see, then drive there and have a look, knock on the door if you have the nerve and ask the occupier.
Usually the expensive price is for a very good reason, the cheapest is usually just that, and the man in the middle is not bad but inclined to cut corners.
