I have wallboard on my downstairs walls with wallpaer on it. How do i paint it? The design is light colors. I plan on using taupe as my color. I also have a bedroom with paint on it that is pealing off. It seems as though the wall underneith is paneling. How do i correct this problem? I know i cannot repaint it.And what do i do with the uneven spots? Very Happy Thank you!

You can paint the wallpaper and paneling any color you like. A good quality oil primer such as cover stain or problem solver put on and allowed to dry properly should take care of any adhesion problems.

as for the paneling scrape and sand anything loose, sand everything, prime, patch and paint. If your trying to do small patchwork allmost any spackle will do, but ask your paint retailer for the best one for your project. good luck.
