I'm considering painting over my really revolting bathroom tiles which were there when I moved in, they tiled the WHOLE bathroom in them, pale green with a brown & green flower pattern. I know that I would have to give it two coats to cover this design, but before doing this I just wondered if anyone had any success in doing this type of thing. The paint I am looking at is a special tile paint with a primer already in it.

Thanks for any advice.

There are special paints on the market, but never used them so can't comment.

Bath Spa used tile paint, if you listen to the news. Laughing

Thanks Scruff, might do just a few tiles first and see how it turns out.

You can get your tiles enameled and they will have a lovely smooth finish and providing the job is done correctly using the correct materials, the enamel will stay intact for years to come. Tile paint will peel, gauranteed
