The Rover 200 engine has an alluminium sump and the rover 400 engine has a steel sump. If i swapped the sumps around could i run the 400 engine in the Rover 200? The engines are both k series, the 200 engine is a 96 P-reg 216 and the 400 i have been told by the company i bought it from that it is a 99 416 engine. the sump on the rover 200 engine has a stabilizer on it but the one on the 400 does not .
