Is it possible to have a leak without a visable water stain on the wall? I have a smell that I thought was a dead rodent but the smell keeps coming back. This has happend 3 times in the past 6 weeks. Smell will come, last for about 5 days, go away, and repeat itself. Any suggestions.

Without any more info, back ground etc it could be anything.
