|
|
Hi, I am in the process of plumbing in a shower, all seems to be going ok.
My question is, the shower head is connected to two wall plate elbows (which are screwed to the wall) by two threaded bars. The end that screws to the shower mixer head uses fibre washers, does the end that screws into the wall plate elbow get its water tight seal using ptfe tape or is there another way of sealing it?
Thanks very much

A roll will do about 10 joints on average.

Sorry about this, I should have phrased that better, what I meant to ask is, is it a permanant fix. Once I put it on will it last a long time.
Thanks again for all your help.
