Rhubarb

I planted rhubarb last year and did not pull any stalks.
This year I have plenty of long stalks and big leaves but whilst I have managed to pull some stalks the rest are nearly 3cm wide but they are thin but the plant looks healthy ?

Have measured with vernier and stalks about 7mm thick, I had seed pods but removed them, leaves are very big!

Re: Rhubarb

If the sticks are firm you can still use them, then in the winter fertilizer preferably well rotted manure and cover with straw.

Put the manure around the crowns but not on or touching.

I need to dig my up and split the crowns this years as it's getting very crowded.

May scatter the seeds and see what comes up
