Update a brick fireplace
Hello. We have a 1960 red brick fireplace with an antique mantle. I want to update the look. I have decided to add a hardboard to the upper part which goes all the way to the ceiling and put tile on the surround. How would I attach the board to the bricks? What would I do to the corners? What kind of mantle would I use? Thanks.
